On 24 November, the “Leonardo da Vinci” National Science and Technology Museum hosted the second edition of the FinanceCommunity Awards, celebrating excellence in the Italian finance sector. Gathering for the event were financial advisors, investors, banks, private equity funds and asset management companies – together the real drivers behind a market committed to injecting fresh stimulus into the national economy, working side-by-side businesses to foster positive growth and its consolidation.

Attended this year by over 800 participants, the event is organised by financecommunity.it, in partnership with numerous legal firms and finance companies. Awards were assigned by a respected panel of judges, who together with the media outlet’s editorial board identified and rewarded the people and companies of excellence who over the course of the year stood out most in terms of reputation and operations.

In the private banking sector, Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking was named “Team of the Year” for being one of the groups with the most assets under management and one of the strongest market leaders. Through the award, financecommunity.it highlighted the professionalism and excellence of the company, which distinguished itself last year for the value of the service it offers its customers.

Two awards instead went to Banca IMI, the investment banking arm of Intesa Sanpaolo Group, which was named “Team of the Year – Non-Performing Loans (NPL)” and “Team of the Year – Corporate Finance”.
