Accessibiliy Declaration

Accessibiliy Declaration

Intesa Sanpaolo and all Group companies and banks subject to accessibility regulations are adapting their digital channels to the accessibility requirements set out in the relevant regulations, inspired by the values of their code of ethics.

The right to accessibility is one of the key factors to which the Group has always paid the utmost attention, including through constant review and maintenance of its digital channels and content.

Declaration of accessibility

Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking undertakes to make its website accessible, in accordance with Law No. 4 of 9 January 2004. This declaration of accessibility relates to the website  www.intesasanpaoloprivatebanking.it .

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the requirements set out in Appendix A of UNI CEI EN 301549 regulation due to the cases of non-compliance listed below.

Non-accessible content

The contents listed below are not accessible for the following reason:

Non-compliance with Law No. 4 of 9 January 2004
  • Non-decorative graphic resources lack accessible alternative descriptions, even images containing text and data presentations (charts, tables).
  • Colour and graphic forms are sometimes used as the sole means of conveying information.
  • No alternative (e.g. text transcript) is provided for the videos on the website.
  • There is no structured hierarchical organisation of the information using consistent headings.
  • When navigating with a screen reader, one often encounters reading sequences that do not follow the normal navigation flow (e.g. elements within the header and links to abstracts).
  • There is no option to skip content that is common to all pages (‘Skip section’).
  • Decorative images and icons can be accessed whilst navigating the site.
  • Some pages do not have a descriptive title.
  • The content on these pages cannot be customised in terms of preferences or responsiveness.
  • When inputting data, there are no error messages and no prompts on how to complete the fields.
  • The input fields are not programmatically or formally associated with the correct data type.
  • The text superimposed over the images lacks sufficient contrast, whilst the colour scheme is unsuitable when the mouse hovers over buttons and links.
  • Some text content may extend beyond the boundaries of its container if you choose to change the line spacing and spacing between text.
  • Accessing certain content (e.g. the arrow used to expand additional content on the ‘Issues’ page) using the keyboard is not part of the browsing experience for people with visual impairments.
  • The focus indicator is missing from some interactive elements.
  • Scrolling information does not include an option to pause it.
  • The navigation flow contains hyperlinks that are not descriptive and lack accessibility attributes. Notably, there are often elements of text that semantically suggest links without actually containing one.
  • Some pages are not translated into English, although they could be.
  • When the mouse pointer hovers over certain text-only elements, they are visually highlighted – as is the case with buttons and links – without behaving in the same way.
  • Interactive elements, such as buttons, are often treated as links and, in some cases, are not recognised by screen readers because they lack the appropriate attributes to specify their name, role and value.
  • PDF: the logo in the documents does not have alternative text.
  • PDF: the documents do not have an appropriate structure or accessibility tags for headings, paragraphs and tables, and there is no hierarchical organisation of the information.
  • PDF: decorative elements often have irrelevant textual descriptions.
  • PDF: the data collection forms cannot be filled in directly within the document and do not include error handling or guidance on how to complete them.
  • PDF: reading documents using a screen reader is not straightforward due to the lack of a hierarchical structure of elements and accessibility tags.
  • PDF: the documents do not have a title listed in their properties, and the language is not specified. On the pre-login pages, there are options available via a specific tool.
There are currently no accessible alternatives available.
